Laboratory of Wildlife Population Demography

(Tsuda Laboratory)

About our Laboratory

Our main research topic is population demographic dynamics of various species at various spatiotemporal scales (e.g. from mountains to ocean, from local to continent, from past to future) based on population genetics/genomics approach to apply them to ecosystem management and conservation under changing environments including  on-going climate change. In addition, we recently started to statistics analysis on travel research in particular to mountain  area to evaluate demographic pattern in eco-tourisms and propose safe activities and recreation, enjoying biodiversity in the world!
